The conversational register on this channel is the main reason I kept returning to it — it sounds like actual people talking rather than a pedagogical recording. I used it specifically when I wanted listening practice that didn't feel like listening practice. The informal pacing and vocabulary are good preparation for conversations with native speakers who aren't adjusting their speech for a learner.
