I use it to do audio overviews of materials I send it — useful when you want to process written study material in listening form. Not a Chinese-specific tool but worth including in any toolkit that treats AI as a genuine study partner.
I'd send study materials — grammar notes, reading passages, vocabulary lists — to NotebookLM and listen to the audio overview during a walk or commute. It's an unusual workflow but it gave me an extra pass through material I'd already studied in a different format, which reinforced retention through a different sensory channel. Not a Chinese-language learning tool specifically, but an AI tool that I found genuinely useful as a component of how I processed written study material when I didn't have time to sit down and read.
